Stuck in a job I hate...

I've been looking across all jobsites for jobs in my area. But my area is really small and there isn't much around. I looked at getting a job an hour away but there isn't much in that area either. I don't drive. I've applied for all the full time jobs available and the other jobs are for managers. There's a lot of part time jobs but I need to work 40hrs
I really hate my Job, each morning i dread getting out of bed to the point where I want to cry.
I can't just quit as i have no savings what so ever.
I don't know what to do.

Work out what the problem is with your current role and see if you can address it.
Learn to drive. Or get a bike/scooter to widen your range a bit.
Take two part time jobs that fit around each other (I know that's not as easy as it sounds.)
Get a temporary part time evening /weekend job to build up some savings and give yourself more options. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0 -
Get out of bed each morning, and think "I hate my job, but I am going to do it and do it well because it is my job that pays for me to live".
Have a think about whether you can do anything to make your job a bit better for you.
do you have the skills to get the same sort of job but somewhere else? Could you relocate?
You should start saving, but you need a target (a reason to save) and a plan.
Good luckThe comments I post are my personal opinion. While I try to check everything is correct before posting, I can and do make mistakes, so always try to check official information sources before relying on my posts.0 -
If you are unable to find another job, you need to switch off the 'I hate' feeling as all that will do is drag you down. I was in a job I loathed and got through the day by simply going in, doing that job and walking away again at the end of the day. Don't even think about the job outside working hours. Easier said than done, but you need to try.0

Going on a pretty limited post - How long have you been looking and how long have you hated the job? Are you really a square peg in a round hole or is job seeking depressing you.
As a start, if on terms that allow it, perhaps you need to be having a conversation with your manager/supervisor as they might be able to help rather then learn one day you are going and could have helped.0 -
Have you searched the forum for similar threads?
Have you identified what is causing you to cry - is it the nature of the work? the people you work with? your boss? The way your friends/ family view your employment?
Do you know what sort of work would make you happy?
Have you looked at self employment?
Have you spoken to your GP about your feelings?
What made you sign upo to a moneysaving site and look to post on an employment subforum?
How old are you and what qualifications and experience do you have?
Have you ever done any work that others would find unpleasant or hard? (e.g. outdoor manual labour in the winter, home carer changing adult nappies, toilet attendant etc etc)Originally Posted by shortcrust

It's everything really . I work in a Nursery I transferred 3 months ago due to moving into the area . I was promised id get placed into a room but for the last 3 months I've been break covering. The staff are rude mostly all the time to me and the managers lack communication to the teams and between staff so many problems and then blame it on staff and the staff blame it on each other. The managers also has favourite staff too . I also had a disciplinary because of my illness though it's to do with my disability i can't do anything about it as I signed the contract about absences.ive been working in childcare for 4 years in 3 different nurseries and I just want to step away from that and have a new career. The whole thing makes me cry.
I clean as part of my job/used to clean the bathrooms and such
I'm 23 and level 3 in childcare and education.

Really sorry to hear this - I'm 23 and it's such a young age to hate your job! Have you considered what you love about your job now? Maybe it's working with kids or something? Maybe you could become a childminder, starting off at weekends/after work and when you get a good reputation you can give up the job and go full time?
My partner hated his job so started training to be a driving instructor- it was a big time commitment, but I think he feels much more comfortable now he has something that he could do 'freelance' if the job doesn't improve.
Good luck! I hope things are much better soon0 -
