Pcp settlement mistake
Hi. I had a pcp agreement started in 2014. 2 weeks ago I received a letter off the company saying that the agreement had been settled and they no longer hold a financial interest in the car. This was done in error on their part. Where do I stand legally here? The company are holding their cards close to their chest, I don't think they know what to do, is that it? Am I clear of this debt by default?

No you are not unless you can prove that you have paid the finance off.
You may get say £25 for your inconvenience.0 -
Are you saying you still owe money ( how much) but due to their mistake you think you shouldn't pay it?0

unfortunately, you haven't just won a few grand on the pools. Call the company up and discuss the options. Keeping the car scott free wont be one of them0
