How much can we borrow? temp job and job due to start

Hello
Can I get some advice on how likely it'd be for us to get a mortgage at the moment?
I'm half way through a 12 month contract (but can show consistency of employment at other companies but same industry, I've read that that can help show security?) earning 35k
DP is between jobs at the moment, in September (as it's after the school holidays so helps with childcare) he'll have a job earning 22k, it's a company he's worked for before so no probation period needed. He also has a separate self-employed job for which he can show many years of accounts, varies a lot (and will be higher this year) but the average is about 8k.
Can we take into account all this income and assume a joint salary of 60k or are lenders not going to like us? We have good credit history,no debts but 3 school age kids. about 90k equity in current house and would like to buy one that costs about 350k.
Are the online brokers any good or would it be better to find a local one?
Thanks

Online brokers are not going to be geared up towards, your circumstnces I would not have thought. Its a little complicated.
There are potentially lenders out there, but it will come down to the detail.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it.
