Hi,

I applied for a Melton Mowbray BS shared ownership mortgage last week, sole application. DIP went through fine. Instructed solicitor etc.. does anybody know how long MBS take with applications. As i haven't heard anything since sending off application!

They ain't quick. Particularly if the quill pen falls off side of the desk.

Just an update If anybody can help? 😂 they called yesterday asking a few more questions and said she was going to instruct valuation. Do they instruct valuation before or after it goes to the underwriters? The whole process is very confusing!

Hi did you get your mortgage approved?
I submitted a full application on the 11/09/2018 and still haven't head a thing..

Hello, I’ve just sent a full application off on Thursday 18th October, had confirmation it arrived and all is correct. Have paid the valuation fee and it had been sent to the head office ( underwriters) on Friday. My mortgage advisor also informed me that they have 30 days to get the offer letter to you and that they should ring me early this week to introduce themselves and that malarkey!
