I'd recommend TP for quality and flexibility. I bought a double swing frame with twin rider, swing and trapeze 2nd hand. Then added an extension and a rockaboat(also 2nd hand) so for under £70 I can have 5 children on it at a time! These can be found on ebay or local ads.

I was in my local woolworths clearance yesterday (thurrock) they had quite a lot of garden toys inc swingsets reduced down, not great bargains but may be worth a look.

  • I saw something in a focus liquidation store, but wasn't paying much attention as I was looking for xmas lights!
  • Are you a member of freecycle? If there's one around your area, it's worth checking out as people do give these sorts of things away.

I got my climbing frame from freecycle - it's an ELC one with slide, monkey bars and a rope net thing. My children absolutely love it. Last week, someone near me was giving away a 1-year-old TP climbing frame which she had bought her children who were too big for it! I think now that summer has drawn to a close, some people are clearing out their garden so might be worth checking out.
