I recommend trying supermarkets' own brands - you can often be surprised!0

Iceland's often worth a try for offers on branded goods too.
I've also seen the 425g version for £1 in Home Bargain.
So Corona you could save and keep the HP.The more I live, the more I learn.

I love Aldis Bramwell mayo, better than Hellmans:)SCP # 034
The £1000 emergency fund #590 -
I too am another who likes the Aldi's mayo its as nice as Hellman's but a lot cheaper. I love their caramelised red onion chutney as well. Don't eat much pickle and usually end up with left over christmas picalli that my Dds have bought0

I've found lidl own brand mayo good, and they do an extra light version which helps when I have a bad habit of using far too much mayo on my meals!0

I stop using HP when it went abroad. I started using Branston sauce and now moved on to supermarkets own and I actually like its a fraction of the price of branded brown sauce.0

Tomato Ketchup - Aldi wins by a country mile. I don't do brown sauce.
Pickle - Asda smart price is the best. Then after Aldi.
Mayo - struggle. Occasionally M&S but pricey so kinda stick to Hellmans. Lidls is awful for me, Aldi is bland. Supermarket brands vary but not amazing in taste. If I had to stick my neck out and pick one - Tesco is not bad.PK! :money:0 -
Mayo is so easy and cheap to make, I never buy it.
Here's a recipe https://www.realsimple.com/food-recipes/browse-all-recipes/basic-mayonnaise
You can leave out the Dijon and/or add whatever flavours you like.“If you trust in yourself, and believe in your dreams, and follow your star. . . you'll still get beaten by people who spent their time working hard and learning things and who weren't so lazy.”0 -
Don't you buy HP sauce in installments? This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0
