hi, i would also like this advice (sorry to butt in karl but more chance of an answer)
i currently have a loan with £3500 outstanding from hsbc that is at about 13.5% interest and i'm paying £100/month of which half of that is interest (so is costing me a fortune in interest)
i think i have a pretty bad credit history (past arrears on mortgage, 1 ccj and keeping going into my overdraft which is not arranged)
any advice would be welcome, but maybe my deal isn't too bad and i should just try and pay more off per month?0 -
that is cheap really mate..i would get in touch with hsbc ask if you can pay more off per month..i had a loan with welcome finance and was charged 4000 on a 1000 loan 189 per month i defaulted and got all interest wiped off started paying again only 60 per month.0

Whats the problem, will no one give you a loan, or is it that the intrest is too high?
