Sending you a hug and know how you feel. DDs are coming over next weekend for a family get together so will be plenty of hugs then.

Just placed a grocery order for Tuesday afternoon for fruit, veg, eggs, frozen herbs etc and lamb mince so I can make youngest favourite kofta kebabs for her.

Saw gp yesterday and have a couple of hospital appointments on Monday and Tuesday and then another one the following week so looks as if I won't be bored ;)

No family visiting tomorrow so will go to York and have a coffee and browse round the shops with older dd and make myself a brunch before I leave the house.

    Hugs to all.

  • KARCHER have a huge hug from me too. It's horrible to feel as you do with no light at the end of the tunnel. Hope things improve for you soon xx

Home! Just! Long drive home the long way made slower because of slow cars and pouring rain. I don't understand why some people are driving at 30mph on a national speed limit road and then slow down for perfectly OK bends. Breathing....

I ended up taking back the pair of shoes as well as one top for DM, she has a deformed right big toe so most shoes don't fit well, she really needs more rounded tops to the shoes. Anyway, top and shoes returned and I took some time in JL (again) to buy a couple of little presents for a friend's son who will be six years old next Saturday. Oh, and some more perfume for me. I wear Coco Chanel and ran out months ago and today decided that 'I'm worth it'! :j

My broadband is worse than ever, I'm seriously cheesed off with BT telling me that everything is OK, it's blooming not.

Karcher - we all feel like that sometimes. My ex and I broke up a few months ago so there's a lack of serious hugging going on here too. There's some 'hello' and 'goodbye' type hugs but nothing to make my toes tingle or my brain shake. Virtual hugs to you.

After the trials of the week I've poured myself a glass of wine, the first in FOUR weeks, or it could be FIVE. I hopped on my wagon in sympathy with[STRIKE] Robbie Williams[/STRIKE] Ant McPartlin but he's on his own now. Actually, now I'm drinking it the urge is slipping, but I will finish the glass as it tastes so lovely.

Thanks for all the reassurances about my extravagance chairs. On good days I sit out but those folding chairs are not so comfortable. Mind you, the rain is still pouring down at Gers Towers so no chance of sitting out anytime this week.

I will now unpack, put away the small amount of shopping I did, give the flowers some fresh water and fill up the bird feeders. Then I've got a few things to watch from my PVRm.

    A good evening to all.
  • I am seriously brassed off, put the TV on to watch the ladies final....nowt...TV has gone phut!!
