My New Best Friend!

OK, don't worry you are all still my best friends!
Today one of my newly qualified teachers popped in to see me. I have an affinity with her since she started in August. Scottish Local Authorities guarantee a year's work in primary (and I think secondary) schools following qualification. Thereafter they have to then apply and find permanent jobs.
She was telling me that she has kept on her job at Asda (2 shifts during the week and Sunday morning) just to be sure she has an income next year and is also saving to be a first time buyer (no partner or anything). She said that last night she was reducing meat (her department) for silly prices and had picked up some bargains for herself although she doesn't cook a lot. I happened to mention that DH and I cook all the time and look for the reduced stuff all the time. She has said she is more than willing to pick up stuff for me and put in her fridge or freezer, arrange a handover whenever! She had 250gms of sirloin steak last night for 29p!!!!!!!!!
Am I on a winner?
GB xx
