Mortgage Enquiry

Hi all,
Looking for some advice please.
I have recently been contemplating studying a distance degree which would involve me going for a student loan. Rough figures would work out at £4,000 per year for a 3-year course and repayment of the loan would work out at around £30/month based on current earnings.
Does anyone think that if I did this it would have a big impact on mine and my partners chances of getting accepted for a mortgage in around a years time?

It will affect your affordability.
Whether it would 'have a big impact on mine and my partners chances of getting accepted for a mortgage in around a years time' we have no way of knowing.
If £30 per month is going to mean a yes or no, that would be a worry.I am a Mortgage Broker

£30 a month to me personally won't be a problem at all, just wonder if it would matter to them. I'm sure it won't but just thought I'd ask0 -
It will affect what you can afford as this will be classed as an outgoing but shouldn't affect it massively. Depends on what your other outgoings are but you should be fine.0
