Effect of changing address when remortgaging

Hi all,
I acquired my own house 5 months ago owning the freehold and now looking to remortgage the property, the thing is, i didn't bother changing my address with my bank nor register on the electoral roll with my new address as they were registered at my family address where i have resided the last 20 years.
I have now updated my address with santander with whom i bank with and intend to apply imminently with, and updated on the electoal roll, this has subsequenlty had an effect on my experian report taking my score from 806 to 721!
When i was re-registering on the electoral roll to update my address, it did state to remain registered on both my new and old addresses which i didn't choose, but now thinking about it, should i register again and choose this option ? as i still have access to my family address and believe this will look better when applying ?
Any input is highly appreciated !

It's a good job that no one will ever see or care about your score!
Being on the ER and having the correct address will give lenders more confidence you are who you say you are.0 -
I knew that was coming! :rotfl:
I am aware experians score is futile, however i am concerned of the implications of applying under a new address opposed to an address i have been living at for the last 20 years, as it currently stands im not on the electoral roll when a lender checks my experian report.
Would that matter when im applying to a lender whom i bank with and have provided them with my new address, would they still be concerned that its not showing on my experian account as not being registered on the electoral roll ?
Thanks!0
