    Correct link is http://www.focusdailies.co.uk/freetrial.shtml

It says "Fitting fees may apply" - does anyone know how much this might come up to ? I wear strong prescription glasses at the moment but want to try out contacts to see whether they are for me

Thanks loads for this!! I have been pondering getting contacts for a while now to wear now and again but was blown over by the cost of the fitting etc even with free or cheap trials but this is fab!

    Free and with nectar points!

Fitting is often free if you buy lenses from the optician.

If you want to buy lenses elsewhere then you should expect to pay for checkups.
Specsavers charge £20 but elsewhere might be a bit more expensive.

In the initial stages you might need a few adjustments so my advice would be to go on a scheme with free aftercare until at least your prescription is stable and then re-assess.

I have found specsavers to be very good and they don't mind whether you go on their scheme of buy your lenses ad-hoc.
