Good source of takeout boxes?

I'd really like to make some home-made biscuits for my colleagues this Christmas, and I'd really like to package them in the white cardboard takeaway boxes that Chinese takeaways sometimes use. I've only found one place so far that does them, but they seem quite expensive: http://www.unravelagift.com/product_info.php?cPath=64&products_id=76&osCsid=7fb6079d1706d2f797864c1002743fce does anyone know of anywhere that I could get them from? Any help gratefully appreciated!

Have you tried asking you local take-away were they get theirs from or if you can purchase from them, a friend of mine has a chippy and always gives me trays for ds parties to serve food in wont take no money calls it her contribution lol0

What about this place?

I haven't used them, so can't vouch for them, but they say they have no minimum order.

You can buy cheap plastic boxes (like takeout boxes) that are microwaveable (I know this won't be good for biscuits) from such places called Smash n Grab - cost about 99p for 5. They're good boxes and I have used them to put stuff in to give to friends.0

I bought some recently from my local PoundWorld - set of 5 or 8 (depending on size) for £1. That was in Wales, though - can't guarantee there'll be one near you!Mortgage | £145,000Unsecured Debt | [strike]£7,000[/strike] £0 Lodgers | |0

Try Makro, if you have a card, otherwise check out oriental and asian cash and carry wholesalers.0

Hello - you are talking about the cardboard packages that fortune cookies come in, I think, rather than the plastic tubs that noodles etc come in?
Best bet would be to find you nearest Chinese or Asian Supermarket. They usually sell to trade users as well as to the public and have aisles full of stuff like that very cheaply.0 -
Hey Annie - yes, it's the cardboard ones with the little metal handles that you always see people eating from in films! They have them in Paperchase but for something like £1+ each! May try ebay, there's got to be some out there!2015 comp wins - £370.25

They are used quite a bit for wedding favours so might be worth searching those sort of sites :-)
Will have look for some more for you.0
