UC sanction for not taking a commission only job?

Hi everyone I am new here and was just looking for a bit of advice, I have on Universal Credit for 5-6 months after having been made redundant, I am currently volunteering 3 days a week to help improve chances of interviews which it has (struggling to get past interview stage
)
Last week my job coach asked if I would interested in a role for ''Sales/Account Manager'', I liked the sound of it so agreed to an interview. During the interview it turned out it was a door to door windows sales role commission only with no wage. The company rang me and said they wanted me to come along to the second interview group stage which would involve training. I said I was no longer interested as I am looking for Full time/part time work on a regular guaranteed income every month and was under the impression by details on the advert it was a managers role within in the company, I also e-mailed my job coach saying this and she replied saying 'sorry you are no longer interested', But I am a little concerned I will be sanctioned, it has been a week and I have not heard anything but am still worried.
My claimant commitment says nothing about having to take up these types on jobs. My commitment on the job side of it only states I have to take a job which is 1) pays 7.95 per hour and 2) is 90 minutes from my home. It also states I have to take up any offers of FULL paid work. Do I have anything to worry about or should I be okay?
I have done Self employed commission jobs before and they have been awful and never earned a penny so this is why I did not want to do it again.

Yeah you'd have ducked this one in 2013 under JSA. No reason why you shouldn't in 2017. Definately a very personal decision to go self employed.
Just keep getting those other applications in and you'll be fine.0 -
You title is kinda misleading. No point worrying over what has not happened, if you are concerned, contact your job coach because its up to them with how things go.0

Actually, there is a reason in 2017 - because it isn't 2013 and things have changed an awful lot since then. I actually don't know the answer - but neither do you. Telling someone that the rules (supposedly) said something in 2013 so it'll be ok now is just plain silly.Deleted%20User wrote: »Yeah you'd have ducked this one in 2013 under JSA. Firstly, only if the JCP advisor provides you with a direction that you must apply for that position and you refuse is that potentially sanctionable and even after this you can refuse if you cite 'good reason.'
There are 17 such reasons which have been established by statute, in the DWP Decision Makers' Guide and by Tribunals over the years. One of which is that you can refuse to take a job if it will not pay the National Minimum Wage.
The DWP Select Committee raised commission only jobs and the practice DWP promised is that a Jobseeker will not be sanctioned for refusing such a position; but, clearly some advisors are not aware of this guidance as yet, so best to just be polite and cite your previous experience - in the event you are told to go for this 'job.'Please be polite to OPs and remember this is a site for Claimants and Appellants to seek redress against their bank, ex-boss or retailer. If they wanted morality or the view of the IoD or Bank they'd ask them.0
