Commuters who use Thameslink and Great Northern trains can now get automatic compensation for delays of 15+ minutes, as part of a scheme soon to be rolled out to Southern and Gatwick Express passengers too...

    It looks like the system will also fail to identify cases where the customer is delayed by more than 15 minutes, with the relevant services running on time but too busy to board.

    I'm awaiting the first argument between passengers and staff when the staff say to remain on the concourse and the passenger says they have to go through the barriers to get their claim started.

    Problem is i cant use the key smart card as im travelling from stratford out to st albans via west hampstead when im needed to be in the office. using a paper ticket for that leg of the journey.
