Swiping - is when you use the bar-code scanner.
Tapping - is when you tap the card on the debit/credit card reader machine.

It appears a lot of the magazine subscriptions are changing or have been withdrawn too (Dennis titles such as PC Pro and Shopper all withdrawn).0
