Hi,
My parent's recently bought a KENWOOD K23CM13 Combination Microwave, and my mom wanted to use a large oven dish. When she turned it on, the turntable (which the manual said to be left in the microwave at all times, manual can be found here partmaster.co.uk/images/mediator/90/Kenwood%20K23CM13%20IB.pdf)
keeps on rotating so she is worried since the dish will hit the sides and when the turntable get stuck, it will break the motor.
Is it safe to use large oven dish? even if it stops the turntable from rotating?
Thank you

Yes, it is safe to use a large oven dish in in combination oven, providing it is suitable for all cooking modes being used at that time. So if the microwave and grill modes are being used the dish must be microwave and grill safe. However, if the dish is so large that it prevents the turntable from turning, then no it is not safe to use. Your mother's best bet is to watch the dish for 1 or 2 rotations to see if it gets stuck. If it does and it's off-centre, reposition the dish on the turntable. If it's hitting the sides of the microwave because it's so large then replace it with a smaller dish.0
