Tax free childcare

Hi

Does anybody know if it is possible to use this new scheme alongside the childcare vouchers scheme.

My wife gets the maximum vouchers allowable of around £243 per month through her employer. I'm wondering if I can make up the balance of our childcare costs by the new the new tax free childcare scheme (I am self employed). We have childcare costs of around £300pm so not a massive saving but it all helps.

Thanks

Just found the answer to my own question looks like a big fat 'No'-

'Although self-employed people are eligible for tax-free childcare, your household will only be allowed to register for tax-free childcare if neither parent chooses to use childcare vouchers.'
