Childcare voucher scheme

Hi, I am looking at joining my work's childcare voucher scheme. My partner's work doesn't enrol in any scheme. Would I be allowed to claim vouchers through my work and he claim through the new Tax Free Childcare scheme the government has set up or would we both need to claim through the Tax Free Childcare. I have looked all over for the answer but I can't find it anywhere. Our childcare costs are more than I can claim for per month under the vouchers scheme. Thanks.
