Problems with the RBOS

I was wondering if anyone had dealings with the RBS. I applied for a loan of £7500, online on the 30th August. It was agreed in principle online. A credit search was made on that day (Equifax). A credit agreement was sent out to me, which i duely signed and returned along with additional I.D which was requested. I thought this was quite strange as i already have a business account and key account with them! On the 3rd of September another search was made on my Experian file and on the 5th September a further search was made on my Equifax file. The next day i was sent out TWO decline letters. I find this whole situation very strange. First, they told me that they only use Equifax. Second, why was i sent out a credit agreement, then declined. Third, why i have TWO decline letters, when all they wanted was confirmation of my address! I have asked my branch to investigate. They cant find out why all this happened and all they can do is delete two searches but one will be left on! Help im stuck!
