Deferred company pension

Yes I saw in the booklet that GMP earned before 6.4.88 attracts increases are set by the government (presumably rpi?).
No - this was inaccurate at the time for those with deferred pensions increasing by fixed rate and is certainly inaccurate now for those coming under the new state pension.
Look up Scheme-Pensions Ombudsman on Google for the case of Mr Ainsworth, a Barclays pensioner.

As to whether you can transfer out of your pension, what was the reason given for your not being able to transfer out?0 -

I was wondering about the 'not accepting' thing. If, for example, Virgin would accept the transfer (and I do have one with them, which I still pay into), maybe I could transfer it to that.Plenty of places will take a transfer even with a negative recommendation, so don't let that stop you if you still want to do it. Not a big deal at all.
I keep meaning to transfer that anyway, into the HL SIPP.
If I transferred the DB one into that, is there anything stopping me then transferring that into the SIPP?0 -
There is nothing.0
