What colour bedding do you have and how much?

Do you have lots of different duvet covers in fancy patterns or just plain?

I had a white duvet cover which was really cosy from M&S, gave it away when I saw a heavily patterned purple one with butterflies but, although I love purple and its my favourite colour, I think the white was fresher and I think having just one or two sets in plain colours is more money saving.

A mix of white and navy, Two each duvet covers, fitted sheets, four pillow cases.
I don't have enough storage for any more.

I tend to stick to subtle patterns mostly based around grey or duck egg as we share our bed with 4 cats :) White, although beautiful, would need to be changed daily

I have 3 full sets for each of our 4 bedrooms which are rotated upto weekly depending on use - they are stored in their pillow cases under their respective beds.

I know what you mean, I share my bed with two cats but I find their hair shows up more on the dark duvet cover somehow (they are black and white cats). I do have a hand held GTECH that I run over the duvet to save having to change it daily.

My last lot of bedding was lilac and lasted around 20 years

Last year I bought even better quality with 80% off all in a creamy buttermilk colour.

On also have some winter bedding in a deep red. That's a really heavy weight brushed cotton. Saves having to put on the winter duvet unless it drops to below freezing for a while

I might scrimp on most things, my bed, bedding and shoes are where I won't.

Have you been in my linen cupboard?:rotfl::rotfl: we have duck egg in a vintage pattern, a white with grey / bright yellow bird patter (.sounds grim but it's not ...IMO ) by Happy Friday, and a white / ecru set. We also have a Catherine Lansfield set with stags on (it's brownish but turned the white sheet pink when I washed it the first time ) for Christmas time.

We have a mackerel colour tabby so basically screwed whatever colour we have...so she's not usually allowed on the bed.

I love bedding but we're getting near replacing our bed and will likely get a larger one at that time so I'm trying to resist buying anything new until then.

White, three sets, but I have quite a few extra vintage pillowcases of various sorts so I ring the changes by using different pillowcases, along with cushions and throws.

    Black and white patterned.
    Black and gray reversible.
Three of each set. Then enough black pillow cases for the extra pillow we both have and extra black sheets just in case. Our bath and hand towels are black as well. Done so a 60 wash is efficient. Bedding and towels enough to fill the 8kg drum while having some in use and some in reserve.

Dull gold/beige and 2 complete sets for the DB's in the 2 bedrooms. And to take it further in the upstairs bathroom we have 2 bath mats with 4 matching bath towels to match each of them. No hand towels upstairs as the size annoys me. Also have 4 hand towels downstairs in the cloakroom as BT's too big for there.
All that clutter used to be money

We have a white set (high thread count, bought reduced from Sainsbobs) and a scuzzy black and white printed one from A5DA. The plan is to invest on another white set when we next see one on sale. I love that I can wash them at any temperature and leave them out in the sun all day to bleach. They're at least 3 years old now and still look brand new.

Another one with duck egg bedding. I've got two duvet sets, one plain with a band of white embroidery and one a jacquard fabric which is an expensive Laura Ashley one, that I bought a few years ago now reduced by 50% in the sale and using some vouchers a friend gave me for a birthday present. It still looks as good as new :)
