Did you report the employees to the CEO or head honcho of the company for failing health and safety. I remember your posts

I never did take matters further, my mum works in another department and building for them and I didn't want them causing trouble for her, the whole company in my department was corrupt and I can imagine with their main manager sticking up for them when I reported things to him, I could imagine his would too. They were all best friends.

Most of the staff in there told me they'd taken matters higher too towards the union and CEOs and nothing ever changed. In all fairness I was just grateful to be out of that place.

It's a huge international company (which name I won't mention) which is slowly in the process of a major takeover by an even bigger company. I can see big changes coming to that place, and I'll find out what at some point, cause I imagine the takeover will happen in the next year

I would report them to health and safety. They shouldn't make your mams like difficult because you have complained about aaftey

I would have reported them, but by the time I returned after my injury, all of the machinery was back up and running as they should. Health and safety would have gone in and wondered what all the fuss was about.

But once the emergency stop was working, my colleagues were pressing it when the workload got too heavy to stop themselves getting injured like myself, and the shift manager would kick off at them for pressing the button. Something told me that button had been disconnected on purpose rather than 'being faulty'

Karma has hit them in the last few weeks anyway with this cyber attack affecting the entire company worldwide, and I've passed the depot today where it looks like they're all getting overworked and having to do a tonne of overtime which will probably be unpaid
