Dear all I am in china on and off, for the past 3 years, due to a change in the law in China my agency is asking me to provide a police clearance certificate. I am in China and there does not seem to be any process to get clearance, unless any expert here knows better.
Any help most appreciated.

If they require something from the UK Police then https://www.gov.uk/disclosure-barring-service-check/overview would suggest that you need to ask your employer to carry out a DBS check. This has to be done by the employer, not the individual concerned, so presumably that would be your agency. All posts are my personal opinion, not formal advice Always get proper, professional advice (particularly about anything legal!)0

A DBS can't be obtained by a foreign employer. You need one of these https://www.acro.police.uk/police_certificates.aspx0
