Hiya, In the past few weeks I have done some voluntary work at a couple of marathon events in my local towns and because of that I have also got two medals.
I also last night received two awards for being English student of the year at my college and Travel & Tourism student of the year at my college. I have been thinking maybe its time I should be proud of these achievements so wondering how I could use them to put on my CV.

Hi Sam,
On your CV you could just list them under your qualifications and achievements0 -
Ok, fantastic. I will do that then. Thank you!!!0

You aren't giving people enough to go by.
You need to explain and elaborate on what those courses actually 'were'. Animal care and Entry skills for working life are completely ambiguous so how can people advise you??????0 -
Entry 3 for working life was a course that involved everything from Animal Care, money, horticulture.
Animal Care was really learning about Animals and the care of animals, how they could be looked after, what problems they could have and how to treat the problems if any occurred. We studied a range of animals including Dogs, Cats, Guinea pigs to Lions, Elephants. We studied things such as foot and mouth and the problems that occurred with that. There was also a Animal Care Unit with a variety of different animals were we did practical work such as feeding the animals, cleaning them out and grooming them.
Travel & Tourism this year we studied a wide variety of subjects such at International Tourism and the problems/benefits of that such as terrorist attacks, the weather and how these could affect tourism. UK Destinations we also covered and within that how UK Currency affected tourism in the UK.0 -
How does all that sound?0

Are you at college full-time?
Will you be applying for work where the Animal Care qualifications will be useful for the actual job you would be doing?0 -
yeah i will be at college fall time doing level 3 travel. I don't really like animals but had to do that course to be in the course I want to do now. I would like to work anywhere in a customer related environment, at a hotel, in a shop, in a cafe taking orders, in a Visitor attraction. Anywhere really0

Unfortunately, anywhere where there is contact with the general public can be stressful. They can be rude, arrogant, patronising, impatient, demanding, hurtful or just plain awkward and can really test your calm and patience.
Most are nice, but the nasty ones will always stick in your mind.If you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales0
