Leather sofa restoration or take insurance claim?

Hi all
Had water damage to furniture. Insurance toying with restoring or cash payment. Restorer thinks it would work well nut says up to me. Any advice on which way to go considering they've bern very wet and dried out? I have no idea of clesni g and resyoring cost or how much insurance offer will be. Lots of sales on at present and trying to figure which is better in the long term Thanks all

Without knowing the original quality/condition of the sofa it's impossible to know how well the restoration will go. Find out what the insurance offer is and then look at what else you could get for the money.
