Also check out for wines 'on offer' For instance, First Cape SVB, which usually retails around £6 to £7, is currently on offer at £5. With 25% off it brings it down to £3.75.

Have noticed this on Tesco website.

Does it just apply when you buy online (and click and collect) or also when you buy instore?

I've never noticed this sign in the shop before.

I have done this wine offer in Tesco a few times in store - and online.

(There you go - my first post and people already know I'm partial to wine!)

If wine is your thing and you don't mind a bit of a wait then try making your own, very easy to do WoW's can cost as little as 60p per bottle, with some very easy to aquire bits of equipment all that is needed. You could have a gallon of Rose wine made inside 3 weeks and ready to drink.

It's something that Tesco (and Sainsbury's) have been doing for years.

You can make some good savings when a wine is already on offer.

Lidl have a special offer this weekend with a Beaujolais I think at just £2.99 instead of £4.99. This is usually limited to six bottles per customer.
