There is an article in the Daily Mail today, woman who does two hours comping a week wins £30,000 in prizes.

Its so unfair and untrue for most compers.

Keep a log of what you've enteredestimates she's won a whopping £30,000 worth of prizesShe used to keep a spreadsheet to track her winnings, but has now given it up.
So keep a record of those you enter but not the far smaller number you win, makes complete sense (not)0 -
This comping malarky is so easy, all you need to do is put 2 hours a week aside, sent a few RTs, and you will be on £30k a year before you know it!

2016 wins = £125 (18 months off comps)
2015 wins = £6,460
2014 wins = £1,3500 -
It's in lots of papers. She's a blogger, so I guess she did it for the exposure rather than just a quick pay cheque (apparently a journalist approached her and she didn't get paid?)!

"I'm on all the news websites this morning! doing wonders for my blog stats"
At least she does admit to entering a lot of competitions and spending a lot of time without results, with £30,000 in 8 years as only a guesstimate, plus most of the prizes singled out are from 2012/2014, so it's not one of these "enter 10 a day and win £100,000+" type articles0 -

I'm not winning anything anyway, so make no difference. Currently on my longest dry spell, but keeping plugging away.
But your right, expect all the bandwagon compers, jumping on board if its as easy and lucrative as the Daily Mail makes out!!!0 -

I'm sure a lot of us have won as much if not more in value over the years, but I would never speak to the press about it, my nerves couldn't stand the nasty comments apart from anything else!0
