OK, so....I ordered some Chapati Flour from Morrisons online. It was delivered yesterday, and I quickly realised my mistake...

I thought it said 1kg, not 10kg, and it was £4.50 for 1 bag, or 2 for £5, so, you know, I ordered two.....
The recipe I wanted it for only uses 200g. I've made them (rotis) and they're lovely, but obviously need some more recipes! lol
So far we've got naan bread and chapati's, but that's it.
So, any other recipes??
TIA x

What a bargain! I would make a good few (maybe whack a film on whilst you're at work) and freeze loads to use - like the link suggests - as wraps/pizza bases or chapattis.
You could also cut them into triangles with a pizza cutter, bake until crispy and dip into hummus/guacamole.0 -
This recipe uses them in dumplings: http://www.bbc.co.uk/food/recipes/lambandfenugreekdump_900020

Chapatti flour isn't quite the same as ordinary flour, it differs in gluten content I think. It also lasts for a very long time as long as it's stored correctly. Stuffed parathas are a good way of using it up.
The Hare Krishna cafe in Soho Sq makes a lovely sticky vegan fruit cake, when I asked for the recipe I was amazed that the flour used was chapatti flour! I didn't think it was suited to baking, shows how much I know.Value-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!

You could use it much like whole meal flour. It makes good cookies, cakes, and naan bread type flatbreads with a bit of yeast.0
