C&G Mortgage Reclaim after bankruptcy

Hi, We have had three mortgages with C&G over a fifteen year period. These were all in our joint names for a PPI that would pay the monthly mortgage if we couldn't, due to unemployment or illness etc. I was declared bankrupt after the last mortgage so can't make a claim for repayment of the PPI. My question is, can my wife make a claim as she was not part of the bankruptcy?

As it was joint, I believe you'd both have to be involved in any complaint.0
