Halifax Mortgage - how long for offer?

Here's my timeline so far:
3rd June - DIP accepted online
3rd June - offer made and accepted
7th June - full application submitted to Halifax
14th June - survey done, valuation same as offer
20th June - uploaded signed work contract for new job (only document that was requested)
It's now the 27th June and I haven't heard anything. Phoned yesterday but was told it was "awaiting offer" and my advisor was not in the office that day.
Anyone know how long the offer stage normally takes?

Ours took about a week from valuation. Shouldn't be a long wait now

Our survey was done on a Friday afternoon and we had the full mortgage offer from Halifax 9am on Saturday morning.
The fact you've had to send employment contracts at this late stage means your application has probably gone back to the underwriters for varification which is why it might be taking a bit longer.

It was a delay on my side. I was waiting for my new employer to actually put the contract in writing. The fact you've had to send employment contracts at this late stage means your application has probably gone back to the underwriters for varification which is why it might be taking a bit longer.

Just received an email from LBG informing me of the mortgage offer.
A bit slower than I expected, but very pleased with the service, especially the ability to do most things by email and video chat.0 -
Great news congrats0
