I need a decent iron

Hi,
Can anyone recommend a good iron,just a steam iron not one of those big steam generator thingy's.I have had so many in the past few years and they are always breaking.

My last 2 irons have been Tefal ones ( The 1st one broke -but only because I dropped it several times over the years on the tiled floor) and they're really good. My mum borrowed mine and liked it so much that she got herself one. Its one of the non-drip steam ones with a nice smooth plate and they're often on special offer in Argos as they change the models quite frequently.

Another fan of Tefal irons, I've had mine for about 10yrs now.........no complaints

Many thanks for your replies.I have just ordered the morphy richards iron,could'nt resist it especially at the price i paid,£13.57 including delivery! am well chuffed as i'm not one to usually get a good bargain.

The best iron I have ever owned came from Lidl. I bought it a couple of years ago and it's still going strong. The same iron is on sale at Lidl next Monday. It only costs £4.99!!!
