are payplan any good?

I mean - are they reputable, free, honest, and dont make you feel like a right muppet for getting into such a terrible state financially. What do they do exactly in terms of services they offer.

Thanks in advance

Payplan are reputable, free, honest, and dont make you feel like a right muppet for getting into such a terrible state financially. :)

All their services are listed one their website.

CCCS offer a similar service and they a registered charity.

I agree, once your set up payplan are great as a middle man between you and your creditors but dont expect those letters to stop coming though...

On another note though recently I have found Payplan to be a bit worse than when I first joined them 4 years ago, If you left a message you would get call back within the hour but lately its taken 4 days!!

Also I recently contacted Payplan about making full and final settlement offers to creditors as I have remortgaged and wanted to make smaller lump sum payments, Payplan never got back to me so after 3 weeks waiting and promising on 3 occasions that "the settlements team" would contact me. In the end I sorted it out on my own, when payplan finally contacted me 4 weeks later I told them that I had already posted letters to the creditors with offers, they chastised me and said I should not have done so and the offers I made were so small that the creditors would never accept. Well guess what all but one did and I am almost debt free!.

Anyhow they are good but I feel overstretched at the moment...
