I have add a blue hair....
I know!
I find it scary when I'm abroad and there's a socket in the bathroom.
I had some Finnish lodgers once, who asked if they could run an extension lead in to the bathroom!
Lots of (I just lurve spiders!)

Been a bit quiet here of late.
Busy and long day yesterday, dad hadn't been feeling well and after much badgering finally rang the hospital where he had his pacemaker fitted who advised him to see his GP urgently so they could have his vitals done.
Life then became a bit of a whirlwind, GP didn't like the vitals, mad dash to the hospital and dad admitted for a clot on his lung.
It was a long old day, we arrived at the hospital at just after 4, he was told he was being admitted less than 4 hours later but a bed couldn't be found until over 4 hours later. Me and mum finally got to their home at just after one, had to settle mum down and I finally reached home at around 2 or just after this morning.
Dad was ok but peed off at being back in hospital again and now suitably told off by mum for ignoring his symptoms and not ringing for advice sooner (he started having issues Sunday night). We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.0 -
All sounds very worrying Sue. At least he is now being looked after.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. Sorry to hear your news Sue, I hope that he gets better soon. At least he's in the best place and can't ignore his symptoms. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.

((HUGS)) Sue. A lot of men are really not good at seeking medical advice when they need to! xx0

Sue, I'm sorry to hear about your dad, and I wish him all the best for a full and speedy recovery. Is he on anticoagulant treatment now?
On a lighter note, I got this bizarre message from DW: "PS Please will you try to detach hat from hoover in our room?" Hat wound round beater = blue job.No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -

Whose hat is it? If it's yours, GDB, and it's found itself around the beater because you left it lying around, it's definitely a blue job0
