Hi.
I had a Dorothy Perkins order delivered to store which is ready for collection to try and avoid a delivery charge.
I have subsequently injured myself and am unable to get there (I would use the bus). I just wondered if anyone else has ever asked for a to-store delivery to then be sent on to their home at an additional cost? If so should I ring main customer services or the store my order has been sent to? I have a bit of a social/phone phobia tbh so wanted to know what to expect and if they are likely to say no or that they will have to return the goods back to the warehouse.
I've googled relentlessly but cannot find any answers relating to this anywhere.
Thank you x

I would imagine what would happen if an order was not collected is that it would be sent back to the warehouse of where it came. If they offer free delivery it could mean just re-ordering once that has happened (assuming items were not in the sale/limited). But maybe try calling up their customer service, if it's an injury (rather than your telling them you don't have the time or something- so be honest if you call), they would be able to sort something out or hold on to it for longer until you are well enough to collect. I'd call the customer service for Dorothy Perkins rather than the store first and see what they advise you can do.0
