I am a company director and I am continually mail spammed by "wealth management" companies - it all goes straight in the bin.
And - I don't play golf, I don't drink Whisky and the IFA I use was recommended by my accountant...
This is my household too. Company director, we bin all such mail. Along with house coatings etc lol.
And for a start, if you want to help your OH, then do concentrate on marketing to women. It is an under resourced area.'
So get out of the golf club and the whisky tasting and think of something that would attract you to the company. After all, you are the target audience?0 -
Just Google "st james place reviews" and see what you get. Pretty much negative stuff. IMO this is an overpriced service targeted at high net worth individuals that are too lazy to do research for themselves and that are easily seduced by slick marketing. You are now part of that machine, you have admitted you know nothing about finance but think SJP is great for some reason.
I'm afraid you're unlikely to get much positive support and advice on here because most people on MSE are the ones that would not touch a place like SJP with a bargepole. I know I would not (and I am in their target demographic).0 -

I just googled "free pension seminar" and it tickled me that both locations are golf clubs 😂
Though no golfing!0
