Amazon - which prepaid card ?

Options
I hope I'm posting this in the proper section, if not, please admin, feel free to move it.

Recently a friend reported her Amazon account had been hacked, her email address and password changed and within minutes her Creditcard was charged for several £ 100s of purchases.
I only have a Debitcard which is probably not protected in this sort of case and I was thinking if a pre-paid bank card would be enough for registration purposes as I mainly shop with gift vouchers? If anyone has any advice, which card would you recommend?

I cant answer about the pre paid card option.

Don't store a card on Amazon would be a start or change the password make it complex or do both.

Have a second bank account with £1 in it, and just before you make a purchase on Amazon, transfer the necessary funds. No need to have a pre-paid card holding money.
