Reclaiming after free trial...

Options
Hi, can anyone help? My wife signed up for a free 14 day trial with a legal database called VLEX. Having looked over our bank statements I have recently noticed that this was never cancelled and a whopping £60 per month has been taken out over the last 3 months. On spotting this it's been instantly cancelled. The account has never been accessed, short of setting up and today cancelling. Is there any claim for a refund there, or has she signed away any claims by accepting their t&c's. Many thanks for any help or advice.

There's no claim for a refund if the contract has been carried out as she agreed, but she could phone up and beg. Occasionally these companies relent, or at least partly.

You are reliant totally on a goodwill refund. Word your request accordingly.
