Argos refused to take them today saying they were the "old type" and had been withdrawn due to some kind of fraud.

Can anyone advise me what I should do next please.

Hi,

I've had exactly the same problem...apparently last year a lot of fakes were going about so they've changed them. They now have a hologram on like the new twenty pound notes.

All you need to do is ring 0845 337 1627 and they will advise you what to do.

they will tell you to send them back to the address on the back of the vouchers to Rachel Richards and they will send you replacement ones out

and they cant be used in argos

No they can be used in argos its just the old white ones that cant but the new coloured ones can be

I had the old style ones last year and sent them back.
It didn't take long for them to come back and had no problem using them.
