Accountants were responsible for the credit crunch?

I will tell clients that personal insurances should be in place for exchange and that is a fact, that is when the buyer picks up the responsibility.

perhaps our OP and their broker have their wires crossed and the message is becoming confused.

i pretty much quoted him. He said must have by exchange and interestingly hasnt yet replied to my email from ladt night.

I must say I take exception to the inference of this statement Pawal.

By we i didnt mean and you but accountancy profession and society by everyone who felt the impact of a credt crunch.

It is, of course, a big generalisation but it was mainly caused by greedy finance professionals, probably bankers but also with loads of creative accounting involved. Accountancy profession bodies are since putting much more focus on not just the knowledge required but also awareness of ethical nature.
