Hi,I have applied for an additional advace on my mortgage, sent off all the forms, payslips etc .I phoned the chelsea yesterday and was told that everything looks fine and papers where getting drawn up for the offer, she said the case was with the underwriters and should get something in the post in a few days,I asked was the application approved and was told that was up to the underwriters.I have checked with equifax(online account)and there is no search recorded from the chelsea,I know they use equifax because my mortgage application is on it from 6 years ago.How long does it take a search to show up...I thought it was immediate

thanks
