What type of accommodation do you normally stay in on holiday?

Summer’s here and so many people will be going off on their holidays soon. Whether you’re staycationing or heading to far-flung shores, what type of accommodation do you usually pick for your main holiday of the year?

The poll is a little flawed.
I chose B&B but it depends what I am doing/where I am going.

Stayed at Butlins before.
Stayed in a B&B before.
Stayed at a hotel (national chain).
Stayed at a hotel (time-share, so not exactly national chain).
Stayed at a cottage type property before.

I suppose I should only think about my main holiday.
The last one was in a cottage. The next one will be on a ship.
