Remortgaging/Valuation

When you come to remortgage your house, if you stay with the same lender, do they do another valuation on it? Just wondered if, when my fixed rate is up, I am likely to get an idea of how much my house is worth.

Sometimes they will, sometimes they wont.
It depends on many different things, if you are increasing the loan for example.
Be advised though that in a large number of cases when re-mortgaging with your existing lender, if they carry out a valuation you will not always get to see the results of it as it is carried out on behalf of the lender not the borrower.0 -
you could try seeing what this comes up with

Thanks for all your replies. I'm not planning on selling soon, so it was really just curiosity that made me ask.Pink Sproglettes born 2008 and 2010
