Let me give you a warning from personal experience. Don't rely on the dimensions on the paperwork, get a ruler out and measure it ! Although dimensions on washing machines and dishwashers are standardised, there can be, and are, variances.
If the hole into which it must fit was taken by reference to the original, and you had a smaller variant, you'll find that not all will fit the gap. For example not all 60cm wide washing machines are 60cm wide. Some will be smaller. If yours was 59cm and the kitchen fitters made a gap of 59.5, many models wont fit.
This is what happened to me. I ended up going round Comet or similar with a tape measure to find the ones that would fit. Never mind the efficiency specs or features, the only thing that mattered was, "is it narrower than 59.5"

Thanks Joe, will bear that in mind. We'll almost certainly go to our local Euronics franchise again - family owned and with excellent customer services. If needs be, they'll measure the gap first - then if the new machine doesn't fit, they'll change it (did this for a neighbour recently). They'll also take the old machine away for us. OK, we may get the same machine a bob or 2 cheaper from Comet, but you get what you pay for.Let me give you a warning from personal experience.
