Straightening serum/spray?

Hi, I straighten my hair on a daily basis but have yet to find a decent serum or spray that will keep it straight in damp air that we get at this time of year. I don't want to turn up for work with hair thats started to frizz. Can anyone recommend a spray or serum that will keep my hair looking sleek?

So far I have used Tresemme, Pantene, Wella flat iron spray & VO5.

Thanks

  • I use a GHD one in a pump, i think its about £11 but mine lasts about 6-8 months and you only need a pea sized amount.

Is it the Thermal Protector Charlie?

Is it quite light? Everything I try seems to weigh down my (stupidly fine) hair! x
    Gone ... or have I?
  • redken do a decent one (again about £11 off ebay) or frizz ease is really good sometimes on offer in superdrug or boots

It is called 'GHD polishing serum, for nomal-fine hair'. I literally use a pea sized amount, rub it between my hands and run it through my hair.

I too use ghds daily, ive tried loads of products, ive found the best one redken smooth down heat glide, bought off e-bay for about £10. You only need the smallest amount and it does work, no frizz just really shiny sleek hair.

I do now use the colour extend range of shampoos etc, found my hair is miles better condition ( ive curly/fine hair with 2 colours in)
    Hope that helps

  • I'm too straighten my hair on a daily basis, and dont you just love this time of year:rolleyes:

At the moment I have 2 on the go, one is a toni and guy freebie out of boots, Iron-It heat defence Spray. The other (my favourite) is Denise McAdams, Anti-frizz heat protection spray.......another freebie thanks to H&B coupons at Tesco.

I've stopped using the serums and started to use the heat protection sprays. You could then run a tiny amount of serum thru the ends of your hair afterwards if you wanted.
I also remember the words of my friends, but I would rather have enemies than friends like you :p

:p would like to make it known that ZubeZubes avvy is a DHN, she's not dancing :o
  • I help number of web companies and have quite a few in the health and beauty market. If you want I can probably get you free samples and stuff. Of these products. Would this be helpful:money:
