hate to say it but i'm a store scoffer. I will check I have enough money for said item and always pay for it. tho while in lidles today there was a guy scoffing his pick your own nuts in the queue and then left the uneaten ones tucked in the corner of the trolley so as not to pay for them, I said 'don't forget you nuts.... oh but you've eaten half of them' .the cashier charged him twice for what was left :D the dirty look I was given made me laugh really hard.

:rotfl: sounds like you hit him where it hurts..... in the nuts! :D

I've been catching up with the programme although it's hard going as it's so formulaic but fast forward gets used a lot.

What I never understand is that they tell you openly which brands they are taste testing but the swaps the families accept are just flashed before our eyes and you need to be quite knowledgeable to know where they come from. So people who recognise the products probably use them anyway and those who could do with the information are none the wiser!

    I can't understand this.

I go to the supermarket & shop..
Ther have been times when I have opened up a chocolate bar and had a couple of squares before it's paid for. Or ate half a warm pastry from the counter at Lidl, but not for a long while - back in the days when I didn't eat until the evening. These days, having a late lunch and no evening meal has remedied that.

I thought I'd tag this on the end of this thread instead of starting a new one:

I've just caught a bit of 'Eat Shop Save' on ITV presented by Ranvir Singh.

Is this just a rip-off, rehash of 'Eat Well for Less'?

Apologies if this programme is being discussed on another thread, I haven't noticed one.
Caught up on this now. It's a variation on a theme, nothing revelationary but again it showed positive results. At least there was a focus on health and activity.

I often buy a pack of water & break one out to drink while I go around.
