 Evening lovelies,
Just a quickie... (oo-errr!
)
I want to check our credit files - but do I have to do each of us separately or will my info be on my hubby's because we're financially linked in so many ways?
And is it better to go for the easy to understand check my file report - or apply to each of the companies separately and wade through whatever they send me.
Somebody told me that Experian is very short and hardly worth bothering with, but Martin says to check all three these days.
I'm hoping that somebody on here has done this already and can tell me what they thought about it.
Cheers honeys,
Love Jacks xxx

You have your individual reports so you won't have each others details on them. You will only have the names of those you are linked to! (I think :rotfl: )
You can get a free report from Experian for signing up to their 30 day trial. Just make sure you cancel before the 30 days are up or it will cost you!
I'm not sure whether Equifax have the same offer!

:T Cheers Gorgeous!
So I'd better do one for each of us then - and be very disciplined about the free trial.
I've just posted yet another link to your fab "newbie" post - which I reckon I must do at least ten times a day.
Have you been MIA recently? You don't seem to have been around so much.

if you have quidco do this through that and you get £5 then do you husbands (free again) through pigsback to get the points :T they both must be signed up trough different email though :rolleyes:0 -
I know it's not free, but I find www.checkmyfile.co.uk quite invaluable. It allows me to keep an eye on all 3 of my credit files. Probably a Quidco or Pigsback link somewhere along the line, but I have the annual 'pay every quarter' service (but they accept Paypal! Hurrah!) x0

Hi Jacks - don't know whether you've seen this thread or not, it's just come through on the weekly email. It's basically saying Top Cash Back might be a better cashback site to use than Quidco if you don't use Quidco regularly, because of the £5 annual admin fee that Quidco charge."I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250

Oh Pap, sorry, I wasn't meaning to contradict your post hon - Quidco do pay the most providing you are already using them and therefore don't need to take the admin fee into account. I'm really sorry if it sounded like I was saying you were wrong! Now it's me that's going  lol!"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250

 WooHoo!
Cheers my lovelies!
I'm going to go and investigate all of those options right now.
Hubby - bless his gorgeous geeky heart- has his own email domain so signing up with different email addys won't be a prob.
I'm quite stoked at the idea that I can get points / cashback as well. :T
I'm also pretty psyched  at the thought of signing up to checkmyfile and paying for it with my [strike]eBayed junk[/strike] eBay sales.
Thanks ever so much everybody, :A
