Do you think I'm mad having Sky AND Virgin??

HI all, can you give me your valued opinions on this... We have Virgin TV, Phone and Broadband, don't really want to change as we are on a good deal for all 3 and can't get Sky broadband. Anyway, have just bought a new TV for the kitchen and as we don't currently have an aerial and can't get Freeview in our area, I have ordered Sky Pay Once Watch Forever for £75 (much cheaper than a new aerial) which is being installed next Mon. Will I be ok telling the installer I want it installed into the kitchen (there is a phone point there), and do you think it's a wise move having both (I don't want the £10 per month for another V box and we do have a video sender but don't always want to watch the same progs as the main TV)?
Hope this makes sense, all views gratefully received!

I have Virgin Cable and Sky. I've always had Sky Family Pack for as long as I remember with NTL analogue cable, phone and broadband. I got one of the cheap upgrade deals when Virgin took over. So I now have Virgin digital cable and just kept the Sky going. I know it's a bit indulgent and not very 'Money Saving' but he ho!!"...IT'S FRUITY!"0

Also called 'no commitments', you get freesat from sky (ie all the free channels), free dish & installation, 6 months of 2 mix package (i've chosen Variety and Kids), for a one off payment of £75. Ordered it from Dixons last week as it worked out much cheaper than getting a normal aerial installed.0

I got sky and virgin too. I was orginally on virgin 3 for 30 bb/tv/phone. Disconnect phone/tv earlier this yr and negotiated bb for £10/month. Like you we didnt have an aerial so phoned a few aerial guys and they said £80-160:eek:
So Sky £75 deal was cheapest way!:T0 -
maybe a silly question but how does the sky work on the tv if u have got it plugged into a ariel socket0
