Morning :hello:

Took Scampi to vote, I was going to join in with the DogsAtPollingStations photo thing. He wasn't having any of it and threw a massive tantrum because there were too many strangers for his liking – ie more than two :D So no photo of him voting for more treats, lol. His kongs arrived, he was happy about that and ran down the garden with one before I had a chance to take the cardboard wrapper off :D
RosyRed I hadn't thought of putting apple in the kong, will try that, ta x

The weather's not looking great again but it's not supposed to be as bad as yesterday. Just a few light showers are predicted and the wind has calmed down – I'll count that as a good day :D Not much planned for today, I'll just be pottering about and will get into the garden between showers.

Could you put carrot in the Kong tru, my dogs would have crossed the gobi desert for a bit of carrot. Then again, they were totally treat obsessed and liked anything except onions.
I was jumping to conclusions and one of them jumped back

Good morning everyone and happy Friday,

Yesterday was a pretty stressful day in work. The heat has been well and truly turned up for us sales people to deliver. I'm going through a bit of a dry patch at the moment so I hope I start to see the fruits of my labour soon.

As a result of the above I stayed on later in work to tie up some lose ends. I got home and made myself a recipe from one of my Mens Health magazines - toasted sourdough with blitzed avocado, chorizo jam and poached eggs - all made from scratch apart from the sourdough. Very nice although it took a bit of time to make.

My internet router arrived too but isn't working so I need to call them this afternoon and get that sorted.

Nothing planned for this evening, although I'm playing football tomorrow and I need some goalkeeper gloves so I'll stop off somewhere on the way home and sort myself out.

It's my bosses wedding tomorrow and he asked me to come along in the evening and since I've no plans I'll go and show face. I'll be driving so it'll be a quick one.

Hope you all have a nice day :)

Karcher, we must have been ships that pass in the night - I went to bed at 4am.

Nelski - I am happy, I don't want a hard Brexit (I was going to say it was the last thing I wanted but actually, that is Brexit itself).

I'm sorry if people don't like me talking about it but I felt it was a bit surreal no-one was mentioning such a momentous event.

Agree and I have a theory that if I go to sleep it all goes wrong :D

Went to bed happy we would remain....Wrong

Went to bed thinking hilary clinton would be US President ...Wrong

Went to sleep last night on and off pretty much knowing the result was not going to go as planned

Im quite happy to talk about it they can always delete me if need be :D

Think that no one is mentioning it because we don't all share the same political views and are concerned that the thread turns into a heated discussion which may change the nature of the what's here.

My vote was cast ages ago, the result wasn't affected by it in my constituency, unfortunately. :rotfl:
• Morning ((((((((((hugs)))))))))) if you need one.

Slept in, so OH brought me breakfast. We went over to the shed place to have. Look at the sheds. I wish we hadn't, a massive argument on the way back thanks to the GPS. I am seriously thinking its time OH put in his license. We need to have more words, hopefully a bit calmer, today.

Bright morning, have a couple of delphiniums I want to pot on, apart from that the Friday clean and a visit across the road to see how the patient is, now he is home. I have a feeling there was no one sleeping in last night, I think they may have turned it down, which is a shame, B really needs a good night's sleep if she is to cope with P during the day.

I hope your right.

Morning all,

raining cats and dogs here. Even the hounds had to be forcibly ejected... even 'blackun' who is a hardy little thing. Both of them have been trimmed and look so much better for it.

Hopefully will be food shopping later. It gives us the whole weekend to do what we want to do.

I'm now braced for months of "we should have emigrated years ago" type rants from the hubby. Its rubbish being me.... still smiling though.:)

Onwards and forwards,

have a great day all.
