Used to play games like this on my SPECTRUM back in 1982. Had one (forget the name) spent over a year on it along with other people. Never cracked it.
This one seemed easy.

Lift the pillow up and click the bottom left corner just were the mattres meets the head board to get the metal stick.
Look at red wall with the yellow draws on your right and a red corner post on your left,click at the bottom of the red corner post which will take u to the battery at the side of the bed,there is NOTHING "UNDER" the bed.

Help, I've got into the red box, got the code, but can't find the control panel to put it into??:j

I still can't get the safe bit to work. When I click where the movie says, it does nothing. What am I doing wrong?! I've tried playing it in Firefox and IE so that's not the problem!!!
